K9 Crew — Our Partners in Helping Children
Sheyenne River Kennels is proud to work with K9 Crew, an organization that is dedicated to helping kids who are 12 to 16 years old and maybe at risk of developing unhealthy coping mechanisms. K9 Crew teaches the children the skills they need to work as professional dog trainers.
The children learn valuable job skills, but they also take part in an environment where they see their efforts are rewarded and that they can make positive impacts. The children build confidence, develop life skills, and develop self-respect by working with dogs. The dogs (with their limitless capacity for love and understanding) are the best friends children can have.
